Role Overview

We’re searching for an Organic Marketing Manager who will own the full organic acquisition strategy while leveraging AI to quickly tackle GEO and SEO. This role is perfect for an experienced growth marketing specialist who is comfortable building and executing a system that fuels organic acquisition, inbound lead generation, and brand authority through content.

This person will be instrumental in ensuring Upheal’s valuable content and product messaging is discovered by our core audience of mental health therapists, humanizing complex mental-health and AI concepts and turning them into compelling, high-ranking assets.

What You’ll Do

Organic Growth Strategy & Execution

• Own and lead Upheal’s organic growth metrics, including all aspects of GEO and SEO.
• Closely monitor key metrics to identify high-potential keywords and content that directly translates to inbound MQLs.
• Drive measurable outcomes: organic traffic, search rankings, inbound leads, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) on key landing pages.
• Manage all technical GEO and SEO executions, ensuring site health, speed, and crawlability are maintained for maximum performance.

Content Optimization & Development

• Rapidly generate a high volume of impactful content by leveraging AI tools and external freelance copywriters.
• Create compelling content including blogs, whitepapers, webinars, videos, and social media posts that resonates emotionally and builds trust.
• Work closely with the clinical operations team to ensure all new and existing content is clinically sound while fully optimized for target keywords and user intent.
• Manage a roadmap for content optimization, including regular updates to improve existing rankings and capture new opportunities.
• Develop and execute an off-page strategy, including link-building and digital PR, to significantly boost domain authority.

Performance & Analytics

• Track, analyze, and report on key GEO and SEO metrics.
• Identify and troubleshoot drops in rankings or traffic, providing clear, actionable insights for recovery and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends, proactively adjusting strategy as needed.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of dedicated experience in SEO, organic growth, or digital marketing with a primary focus on search.
• Proven track record of significantly growing organic traffic and search rankings and owning metrics such as organic growth and lead generation.
• Demonstrable experience scaling up speed and quality of content by leveraging AI.
• Deep expertise in SEO techniques, trends, and tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable growth strategies.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as it relates to SEO.
• Background or familiarity with mental health, psychology, digital health, or healthcare.
• Experience in AI, SaaS, or clinician-facing products.
