Upheal stores most of the data in your account until you delete that data, or delete your account. The exception is conversations with the AI assistant; these are deleted automatically after 7 days of inactivity.
With the exception of sessions and transcripts set to delete automatically, which are recoverable for a four-day grace period and then permanently deleted, Upheal cannot retrieve deleted data. The grace period does not apply to sessions and transcripts deleted manually.
If you delete your Upheal account, all of your client data will also be deleted, and Upheal will not retain a copy. As we are no longer a Business Associate for you once you delete your account, we are obliged to remove all account data and PHI.
Since we won't be able to recover anything you delete, we recommend exporting your data before deleting your account.
