Messaging your therapist and reading announcements in the Client Portal

Your therapist can send you secure, private, HIPAA-compliant messages and announcements in the Client Portal.

Messages and announcements can only be seen in the Upheal Client Portal mobile app, available in the App Store and Google Play.

Secure messaging

If your therapist chooses to have messaging in the Client Portal enabled, they can send you secure messages, and you can respond right in the app.

To view and send messages, click the Messaging icon in the top right. When you have a new message, you'll get a notification on your mobile device, and you'll also see a notification in the Home tab of the app.


Announcements

Your therapist can send announcements through the Client Portal. You won't be able to respond directly to announcements, but you can message your therapist as normal using the messaging feature if they have messaging enabled.

When your therapist sends an announcement, you'll get a notification on your mobile device. You'll see a notification in the Home tab in the app, and you can also see announcements by clicking on the megaphone icon in the top right.
