Managing appointments in the Client Portal

Viewing, rescheduling, canceling, and booking appointments using the Client Portal

Using the Upheal Client Portal, you can see what you have scheduled, and (if your therapist allows self-scheduling) cancel, reschedule, or book a new session.

Rescheduling, canceling, and scheduling will only be available in the Client Portal if your therapist allows self-scheduling.

Rescheduling an appointment

If your therapist allows self-scheduling, you can reschedule your appointments in the Client Portal.

To reschedule an appointment in the mobile app:

  1. Click the Sessions tab at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the Scheduled tab.

  3. Click the three dot menu in the session you want to reschedule.

  4. Click Reschedule session.

  5. Select the date and time you want to change your appointment to.

  6. Click Reschedule session.


To reschedule an appointment on desktop:

  1. Click the Sessions tab on the left.

  2. Click the Upcoming tab.

  3. Click the three dot menu in the session you want to reschedule.

  4. Click Reschedule session.

  5. Select the date and time you want to change your appointment to.

  6. Click Reschedule session.

Cancelling an appointment

If your therapist allows self-scheduling, you can cancel an appointment through the Client Portal.

To cancel an appointment in the mobile app:

  1. Click the Sessions tab at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the Scheduled tab.

  3. Click the three dot menu in the session you want to cancel.

  4. Click Cancel session.

  5. To confirm, click Cancel session. Or, to go back and reschedule, click Keep session.

To cancel an appointment on desktop:

  1. Click the Sessions tab on the left.

  2. Click the Upcoming tab.

  3. Click the three dot menu in the session you want to cancel.

  4. Click Cancel session.

  5. To confirm, click Cancel session. Or, to go back and reschedule, click Keep session.

Booking an appointment

If your therapist allows self-scheduling, you can book an appointment through the Client Portal.

To book an appointment in the mobile app:

  1. Go to the Sessions tab, and click Book session.

  2. Select the date and time you want to schedule your appointment.

  3. Click Schedule session.

To book an appointment on desktop:

  1. Click Schedule session.

  2. Select the date and time you want to schedule your appointment.

  3. Click Schedule session.
