My therapist uses Upheal. How do I use the Client Portal?

Using the Client Portal as a client

Written by Kit Woodin

This article is for clients whose therapists use Upheal. If you are a therapist, see Client Portal.

If your therapist uses Upheal, you can use Upheal's Client Portal to access everything related to your care, without ever creating a log in.

The Client Portal is available as a mobile app on the App store and Google Play.

How do I get access to the portal?

You'll get a link whenever your therapist sends you a form, a session confirmation, or a client summary. They can also send you a direct link at any time.

To get into the portal, just click the link in the email. You don't need to create a separate username or password. Here are some examples of how that link might look:

What can I see in the portal?

Here’s what you’ll find when you click your invite link:

  • Upcoming appointments: You can see what you have scheduled, cancel a session, reschedule your session (if your therapist allows self-scheduling), and join an Upheal telehealth call.

  • Past sessions: You can see a list of your previous appointments.

  • Forms: Any forms your therapist sends can be viewed, filled out, and signed in the portal.

  • Notes: If your therapist shares notes with you after your session, they will appear in your portal under Sessions in the Past tab.

  • Self-scheduling: If your therapist allows self-scheduling, you can also make an appointment from the portal.

To log out of the portal, click on your name in the bottom left corner and click Log out. If you want to log back in, just click the invite link in your email.
