Upheal can send friendly, automated reminders to your clients about upcoming sessions. You can choose if these messages are sent to your clients through email, SMS (text messages), or notifications from the Upheal app.
Setting up reminders
To set up automated session reminders:
In Upheal, go to Practice settings.
βClick Client reminders.
Under Session reminders, use the dropdown menu next to First reminder to select when you would like your clients to receive their first reminder email.
Emails can be sent 72, 48, 24, 8, or 1 hour(s) before the scheduled session.Toggle the switch to Active.
Click Save.
Optionally, you can set a second reminder. Use the dropdown menu next to Second reminder to select when you would like your clients to receive their second reminder email, and toggle the switch to Active.
Now, all your clients will automatically receive friendly reminders prior to scheduled sessions.
Choosing communication methods for session reminders
You can remind clients to fill out forms via email, SMS (text messages), or push notifications from the Upheal Client Portal mobile app.
Email notifications are sent when the session is initially scheduled, then on the reminder schedule you set.
SMS notifications are sent only as reminders, not when you initially schedule the session. You need client consent to send SMS reminders.
Push notifications are automatically sent to all clients using Upheal's Client Portal mobile app, on the schedule you set.
To set your preferred communication method for sending forms:
In Settings, go to Client reminders.
Under Communication methods, check the boxes beside the methods you'd like to use (Push, Email, and/or SMS).
You need to have at least one communication method selected, email or SMS.
Your selection saves automatically.
